Performance management seeks to promote and improve employee effectiveness. It is a continuous process where managers and employees work together to plan, monitor and review an employee's work objectives or goals and his or her overall contribution to the organization.

  • Agree on the monitoring process

  • Document the plan

 

On Going

MONITOR

  • Monitor and evaluate progress

  • Take corrective action or make changes, if required

 

End of Performance Management Cycle

REVIEW AND EVALUATE

  • Annual performance review and evaluation

  • Sign off

  • New cycle begins
